Statement on the Passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg
WASHINGTON, DC — The DC Democratic Party released the following statement in response to the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
“On Friday night, our nation lost a hero. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg changed not just America, but also the world. She championed women’s rights and the rights of everyone who has been denied a voice or denied their rights. Justice Ginsburg was also a longtime DC resident, and her continued commitment to our community will always be in our hearts and memories. We are incredibly saddened. She will be dearly missed.”
