Hit the Road for Statehood: Canvass in Charlottesville with DC Dems & Free DC!
.jpg)
The path to DC Statehood requires electing strong allies to Congress—and that means we need your help to flip Virginia’s 5th Congressional District blue!
The DC Dems are partnering with Free DC for a road trip to Charlottesville to knock on doors for Tom Perriello, a dedicated candidate who has officially committed to championing DC Statehood. If we want representation, we have to put in the work to elect leaders who will stand with us.
We’re making it easier (and more fun) than ever to get involved. Whether you are a seasoned organizer or knocking on doors for the very first time, we have you completely covered. We provide round-trip bus transportation from DC, all meals for the day, comprehensive canvassing training, and all the materials you'll need. Just bring yourself, maybe a friend, and your passion for progress!
